Happy Halloween!!
Happy Halloween!! Almost. This weekend we got to get ready for Halloween. Because I refused to buy pumpkins from the store, Ryan took me to the pumpkin patch where we picked the perfect pumpkins. I made him walk around until we made sure they were the right ones. That is the art of pumpkin picking. Anyway then Danny and Karen came over and we carved our pumpkins. We bought cool little outlines so that we could make really awesome pumpkins. I picked an easy one (a bat) with as little detail as possible and Ryan picked a spider complete with a spider web (which took him forever). Danny and Karen carved a skull on theirs and all three turned out awesome. After we proudly displayed our pumpkins outside we watched "the strangers." I will admit that the movie was pretty scary but don't let the false pretences deceive you. At the beginning it says that it is based on a true story, but in reality it is LOOSELY based on a true story which makes it less scary over all. However, if you are looking for a good Halloween movie I recommend it. I love holiday festivities and we had a lot of fun so if you haven’t carved your pumpkins yet, there is still time!! Once again, HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!
