This weekend I had a thought (which is a rare occurence since this whole pregnancy thing started). Anyway here it goes..
---The mother may carry the child for nine months, but it's the father that carries the mother---
Okay so I know it's super cheesy, but I really am grateful for my husband. For the first couple months of this pregnancy Ryan basically had to take over all the cleaning and a lot of the cooking. Now I have the energy to do those things but he is still helping me through this. He let's me sleep when I need to, he gives me back rubs when I am sore and he gets me food when I absolutely can't live without it. I could go on and on, but I will spare you the details and just say that I love my husband! (which is good, cause we're having a baby!!!)
So I have been thinking about the sex of my baby non-stop. I can't wait to find out what it is. I have been taking all sorts of crazy tests online and most of them say that I will have a girl...I'm still not convinced. Anyway I came across one method that only works if you have more than one child. So for those of you who do, I want to know if it holds true for you (mostly just because I am curious).
This comes off someone else's blog: "If this is your second child, look at the back of the neck of your first born. Does the hairline across the back of the neck go straight across, or come to a point? If the hairline goes straight across, your baby will be the same gender that your first born is. So, if your first born is a boy, you'll be having another boy. If the hairline goes to a point, your baby will be the opposite gender of what your firstborn is. So, if your first born is a boy, you'll be having a girl!"
Seriously let me know if this works in your house. It obviously won't work for me at the moment, but I think it is interesting.

You'll have to ask Kevin about that one! When you are such a smarty pants you are bound to pick a great husband!
When do you find out if it's a girl or boy??
Hey, you should put up some sideways pictures so we can see your pregnancy progress! You've got to be growing by now... :)
