Okay so I know that most of you already know that we are having a boy, but I am still super excited so I thought I would post about it. Last week we were lucky enough to have both my parents, and Ryan's mother out to Utah for our big Ultrasound. My sister was supposed to come too, but couldn't due to some medical issues. However, by the miracle of technology she was able to be there via webcam which was awesome. I am so glad she didn't miss out.
My Mom and Dad came out Wednesday night and my Mom and I spent all of Thursday shopping for maternity clothes. They are still a little big on me, but they are a whole lot more comfortable than my regular clothes. Friday morning Ryan picked his mom up from the airport and we all went to Zupas for lunch. We had to stay there for over an hour because we were early for our appointment.
Anyway, FINALLY it was time to see our little baby. I have only been waiting for this moment my whole life!! We set up the webcam for Jillian and then all crowded around the screen to watch the little guy. We got to see all his major organs and even a profile shot (he was covering his ears, I guess we were a little too loud for him). We also caught him sucking his thumb!! He will never live that one down. Then she showed us his little boy parts. I could not believe it. I think I would have been in shock either way, but it was really surreal. We are so excited to welcome a baby boy in January. We really couldn't be happier.
After the ultrasound we went out and bought the baby some presents. He is already well loved!!
