First Christmas!

Christmas was really fun this year! Ryan's whole family was able to come out and spend the holiday with us. We had Grandma, Uncle Chad and Aunt Kayla, Uncle Preston, Uncle Taylor and Aunt Madi along with everyone on the other side.

Christmas Eve we picked up everyone from the airport (except Preston who was already here) and hung out for most of the day. We did wait in line for an hour and a half to see Santa at the mall. Sam thought he was interesting, but unfortunately the photographer wasn't very good and didn't get a cute shot. Oh well, there is always next year! At night we went to San Ramon to look at Christmas lights and then headed to my Grandma's house in Mountain View for dessert. There were a ton of people in a tiny space, but we had a lot of fun. Sam got some really fun toys and he got to play with his cousin Grace (my cousin's daughter). They had a lot of fun climbing up and down the stairs. I didn't think Sam cared too much about Christmas, but when we got home I opened some of his toys and the excitement on his face was priceless!! We spent the rest of the night playing Santa.

We spent Christmas morning with Ryan's side of the family. We had a delicious breakfast (thanks Gail!), opened stockings and then presents. Sam got a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, some sippy cups, an awesome wagon, a toy box and many other things. His favorite gift was the toothbrush in his stocking. He held onto that thing the whole morning. He also loves his car and wagon though, he loves anything that will get him outside!

After that we headed over to my parents to spend Christmas with my Dad's side of the family. We got more presents! and ate more good food! I got lots of clothes which is all I wanted and Ryan got some clothes and a drill. He has been wanting manly tools for a while so he was happy. The rest of the day we spent hanging out and playing. It was relaxing and so much fun. It was great to have both sides of the family there to hang out with Sam. He LOVED the attention.
