6 months!

I can't believe my baby is 6 months old. I know we are a little late, but Ryan has been working on a video for your (and mostly our) enjoyment. Here are the 6 month stats:

Height: 27" (60th percentile)
Weight: 17lbs 6oz (48th percentile)
Head Circ: 17 3/4in (75th percentile)

He has hit all his milestones and the Dr. says he is perfect!

Likes: Wiggling, holding his own bottle, high pitched screaming, being tickled, army crawling, playing with toys, smiling at everyone, eating carrots, pooping while in interesting places, eye glasses, long hair, swimming, taking baths, drinking water with a sippy cup, car rides (sometimes), flying, hiding under blankets and behind pillows, peek-a-boo, getting milk all over his face, the bed (and Mom), spitting.

Dislikes: going to sleep...ever, sitting still, nurses who give shots slowly, deep voices, bibs, loud songs, peaches, being hot.

Sam, we love you. You have learned to do so much in the last couple of months and are becoming quite the independent big boy. We are so glad that you can hold your own bottle. It helps us get more done! We have also enjoyed watching you figure out how to get places. First, you rolled from place to place and now you have mastered the army crawl. We are both excited and a little nervous for you to really get going though. We will be grateful for the exercise, but please stay away from the pool and any cleaning products that may be around. We love when you talk to us, smile, and the way you have to hold both of our fingers when you are falling asleep. We love your endless energy, athough we would appreciate a nap every now and then! We love that wind or water in your face takes your breath away and that you can make anyone smile back at you. Mom loves how happy you get at the end of the day when your Dad finally gets home and Dad loves how you can sleep forever in your Mom's arms. It is amazing how fast you are growing up. You learn something new everyday and we are happy to be with you as you experience the world for the first time. Seeing everything through your eyes makes life so simple. Always remember to take joy in the simple things and don't grow up too fast!!

Love,
Mom and Dad
